THE CAMBRIDGE CAE
The Cambridge CAE1 is an advanced English Language qualification equivalent to ALTE2 Level 4 and CEFR3 Level C1. The examination assesses Reading, Writing, Use of English, Listening, and Speaking skills. The certificate is recognised worldwide by commerce, industry, government departments, universities, colleges of higher education, and the professions, as evidence of language ability sufficient for working in a managerial or professional capacity, or for following an academic course held in English. The CAE is valid for life and is the logical foundation for further study of English at Cambridge CPE level.
