THE CAMBRIDGE FCE
The Cambridge FCE1 is an upper-intermediate level English Language qualification equivalent to ALTE2 Level 3 and CEFR3 Level B2. The examination assesses Reading, Writing, Use of English, Listening, and Speaking skills. The certificate is recognised worldwide by commerce, industry, government departments, universities, colleges of higher education, and the professions, as evidence of language ability sufficient for working in clerical, secretarial, and lower-managerial jobs, and it denotes an ability to deal with routine letters and telephone enquiries, and to participate in routine conversations and meetings.
