THE CAMBRIDGE ICFE
The Cambridge ICFE1 is an advanced Financial Language qualification awarded at ALTE2 Levels 3 and 4, and CEFR3 levels B2, C1, and C1 Pass with Merit. It is designed for practising accountants, finance professionals, and students of finance and accounting, who require certification of their ability to use English.
The ICFE examination assesses Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking skills, and is based on realistic tasks similar to the kind that international finance practitioners and students deal with in their work or study environment.
The qualification provides certified evidence of the holder's ability to deploy English in practical situations, which include participation in meetings and discussions of a financial nature, delivery of verbal opinions, presentations, and arguments, and the production of written texts including letters, memoranda, reports, and proposals.
